this morning #893.

this morning, the rain suddenly started to cascade over the edge of the bridge, startling me with a splash as i pulled my truck underneath, just past the glow of the streetlights & into the darkness. in retrospect, i definitely hadn’t asked enough questions. i’d been told to show up an hour before sunrise, wait for him to arrive & do what he asked of me. i’d been warned to make sure i hadn’t been followed. i’d been careful, made all these random turns on my way just in case. on the face of things, the entire scenario seemed super sketchy but i had something to prove & knew that not showing up would make things worse. i didn’t have to wait long at all to find out just how worse things could get.
