this morning, just when my life seemed to be sufficiently in the shitter, like all real meaning was missing, i ended up going down an internet rabbit hole that might change my life. i’d been looking for a cause to latch onto for so so long & now i think i’ve finally found it. turns out that today is world toilet day, a 21-year-old UN-created holiday aimed at arousing action around global sanitation. did you know that 3.6 billion people live with shitty toilets? like….people poop & it ends up getting in their water supply. around the world, 800 kids DIE every single day from DIARRHEA due to shitty water. not cool, world. not cool at all. right here. right now. i demand. make it trend. #thisshitmustnotstand
