this morning #846.

this morning, a natural lack of empathy & wide gap in understanding knelt down hard on my neck for eight minutes & forty-six seconds. so many civilians all around. some filmed with their phones because that was really all they could do. if one stepped up & truly tried to intervene, it’d easily lead to the same fate. for eight minutes & forty-six seconds, fear forced them into inaction. it was a separate sort of fear from what i was feeling & a whole other form of fear from that felt by the knee on my neck. all three fears dealt with death. mine also dealt with my lack of breath, but if we could focus on the death part for just one sec, i’d like to note that i definitely wasn’t expecting to see it this morning.
