this morning #832.
this morning, this man made his way right into my line of vision with an inviting grin from ear to ear. he just wanted a moment of my time. that was fine. i had nowhere in particular to be & i’m sure he could see that in my eyes. it was the way i didn’t look right past him. the way i let him draw me into his orbit with what was either a cry for help or an answer to my own cries. either way, it was obvious he was offering something religious. what wasn’t so obvious was whether it was religion i could trust. it wasn’t until right around the time when his words turned into a rant about how we can’t trust the government that i realized exactly what religion he was selling—conspiracy—and bid him adieu.
