this morning #827.

this morning, i stupidly cut myself while shaving, a split-second failure of focus that led to a copious amount of blood draining out & staining my wife’s favorite white rug. i’m sure when she learns what happened, she’ll be beside herself. i wish i could say it was because i was injured but we all know she cares more about the rug than she does about me. alpaca or some shit. why would she put such a beloved item in our bathroom? that topic is bound to come up in the argument we’re bound to have, so i’ll find out soon enough. for now, i had to focus on the external bleeding. one day, i’d address the internal bleeding. i’d been living with it for a while now, so it clearly wasn’t all that urgent.
