this morning, we were only about an hour into the workday & i was SO ready to slay the next person who said “TGIF” to me. I GET IT. work is a life-sucking activity that we all have to endure & therefore, weekends are the BEST. yes. they’re an officially-sanctioned time to cut loose. i know. you made it through another four days. congrats. let me get you a cookie. oh? you say you don’t eat cookies during the week? that’s a weirdly-specific diet. cookies are “momma’s special weekend food?” that’s a strange way to phrase that. anyway, i need to get back to this spreadsheet. these numbers ain’t gonna crunch themselves! definitely wouldn’t want to have to stay late on a friday!
