this morning #78.

this morning, a hyperactive gecko had made its way into the house & taken up residence in the downstairs bathroom sink. he’d just taken his seat on the toilet when he noticed the confused critter struggling to free himself from the sink’s deep bowl. when he was finished dropping the kids off at the pool, he flushed & confronted the lizard at hand. capturing it proved to be quite difficult. panicked geckos don’t stay still. when he finally got hold, he got it by the tail & that crafty creature got to shedding, leaving him with a wriggling tail between his thumb & index finger. leaping lizards! this morning’s adventure would require more equipment. two glass jars, a hair dryer & a newspaper later, he was finally able to have breakfast.
