this morning #773.
this morning, i could now tell that, although she’d seemed nice at first, the worst was yet to come. i don’t know why i hadn’t seen it earlier. it was a classic case of someone putting their best foot forward & then sticking that foot out just a little bit further & tripping anyone in the immediate area. in certain types of light, that playful look in her eyes had started to take on a more devilish tone. i’d seen it previously in other women. my first ever girlfriend. heather graham. mom. removing myself from the scene wouldn’t be easy. we were madly in love with one another but i wasn’t sure how what was happening below the surface with her would manifest. still, i knew getting out would be best.
