this morning #769.

this morning, this woman in the mall parking lot was backing out of a parking space with her head in the clouds & before i could take any sort of action, she’d collided with a minivan parked directly behind her. she saw me gawking at her gaffe from the comfort of the sidewalk & rolled down her window to engage me. i tried to ignore her, knowing i couldn’t be a willing witness. after what’d happened back on the 4th, i wasn’t supposed to be here in the first place. she kept at me, trying to suss out just what i’d seen while also trying to avoid making a scene. while i’m not proud of how i got out of the situation, i did learn that acting like you’re blind quiets people down pretty darn quickly.
