this morning, with each successive click, he tried to get his initial daily fix of politics. as he did, he inevitably grew increasingly sick of the way that both sides of the media only focused on stories about bickering lawmakers & sideshow shitshows that ultimately had nothing to do with improving society. it wasn’t clear to him why the press engaged in this mess. were they the ones responsible for this political atmosphere where popularity now trumped results or had politicians built a world where that was all there was for the media to cover? he had a regular ol’ chicken or egg dilemma on his hands. in the end, it didn’t matter which came first. either way, the dish served up was decidedly fried.
