this morning #684.

this morning, though he wanted to believe he was more man than machine, he couldn’t ignore that he consistently managed to turn his manpower into result after result with little-to-no feeling at all, all in service of a periodic paycheck. there was no question that he was good at what he did. what was at question was whether he should be providing his stellar services to such a morally questionable company. just last quarter alone, his contributions to catchy taglines & carefully-worded statements had been instrumental in dulling public outcry over five environmental disasters in five different time zones. in doing so, his role in the corporate cleanup only left him feeling dirtier.
