this morning, the shovel was nowhere to be found so it was time to get his dainty hands dirty digging deep in the dirt & retrieving the box he’d buried in the backyard. he’d been keeping its existence a secret & had hoped to keep it that way, so it was imperative that he exhumed it before the family awoke, keep inside what it held inside. if they found out, there would be so many annoying questions. where did he get those? why had he been hiding them? what was he going to do with them? perhaps having to get dirty like this was a sign he needed to come clean. he got them from a guy. they wouldn’t get it. he planned on using the .44 & the $44K to settle some outstanding debts.
