this morning #633.
this morning, for her grand finale, she rallied up a few friends & met up with them for a last breakfast of sorts. it wasn’t until they’d all arrived & taken their seats around the table that she shared that this would be their final meal together. at the end of the week, she would return to her roots, move back into the house she grew up in. something had shifted for her mom & her services were needed much more there than here. she’d get to start anew & finally prove her worth in a way that she certainly wasn’t doing here in denver. there were tears. there were tales. there were more mimosas than she’d expected. stumbling home afterwards, she was grateful that she got to move on from this.
