this morning, all the perpetual postponements had begun to play with her emotions. she pined for some semblance of structure so she could remain somewhat sane & function like a normal human being. what was considered normal anymore? the one thing that was certain was that all this uncertainty had transformed her future into a thick pea soup she couldn’t see through. employment. family gatherings. lunch dates. vacations. they were all in flux, stuck in states of cancellation & suspended animation, while she waited for the right time to arrive. as the days crept past, her anxiety amassed. perhaps it was time to just get off her ass & be the change she wished to see in the world.
