this morning, though there was no apparent emergency, his response was swift & shifted the rest of the family into a panic as he barked orders at them. much rushing about out of fear. the rear of their home was quickly filling with scads of uniformed men intent on killing him before moving on to his wife & kids. there was no time to spare. he whipped open the basement door & waved them down the stairs. as the children began their descent, his wife turned to him in desperation before following them down. he was too afraid to peek out the window again, so he just joined his family in the bunker. six hours later, he’d be forced to admit that his paranoia had become a problem.
