this morning #516.
this morning, all of their varied experience had put them in a position of power usually reserved for someone twice their age. as a result of this stature, they puffed out their chest a little more, even spoke down to a select group of coworkers every once in a while. they’d become one of the veterans at the company, someone who’d joined right out of high school & exhibited literal liberal judgment that left an ultimate impression on the founders. now they could do no wrong in the eyes of two men who were now in their fifties & had trusted them for a quarter of their lives. it was an inevitable oversight, one that would soon lead to a blatant episode of corporate theft.
