this morning, her fight or flight response was all out of whack, so she backed up & considered whether it was possible that she was making more out of this situation than she needed to. all these bleeding-heart something-or-others had got all worked up over what? racial issues? up until the day that people had started calling her out, started calling her a “racist,” she’d considered herself fair to all people. what wasn’t fair was that, just because her skin & hair weren’t fair, her comments at last week’s school board meeting had been heavily scrutinized. in her humble opinion, they had been taken out of context. she was simply trying to make a point about one-parent families.
