this morning #42.

this morning, she woke up with the growing fuzz on her head & the growing buzz in her head. when she woke up most morns, ”this too shall pass” was something she said to sweep away the cobwebs. she didn’t believe in that shit though. things lingered. when she described how it felt to her husband or friends, her morning was fine & then it would end & then she was all on her own, alone with her thoughts, she would cycle through theories about why she was so obsessed all the time but could never quite focus. why had she been saved? when would she taste fried chicken again? how did people see her now? how much was in the bank account? not every question had a tidy answer.
