this morning #382.

this morning, their bare-bones way of being continued to be the key to seeing through all the bullshit swirling round the world around them. less choice led to less stress. less stress led to less time spent in their head, less time fixating on the things they didn’t have. it wasn’t exactly minimalism. it was more like embracing the inability to own much of anything & using it to their advantage. everyone around them was so obsessed with possessions, so insistent about having the latest phone or fashion or capitalist false prophet. sure, the lure of these things was super inviting but the longing wasn’t worth it. humans always want more than they need. in this way, they didn’t want to be one of them.
