this morning #371.

this morning, fatal flaws in the foundation should have been enough to nudge her towards making a change but she was a seasoned pro when it came to ignoring the signs. YIELD. ONE WAY. DEAD END. STOP. none of them registered with her. she just kept on trucking, plowing forward with her underfunded plan to expand her lackluster nail salon to a second location. a coked-up suggestion by a wide-eyed friend in the middle of a rambling rant had now turned into her one & only obsession. though her enthusiasm had translated into the bank giving her a loan, it would not translate into public demand for another nail salon. in two weeks, it would open. in two months, it would close.
