this morning #338.
this morning, she still recalled the regrettable memories that led to her buying this ridiculous waterbed. growing up, the bedroom in her uncle lenny’s bachelor pad always featured a constantly-changing cast of water beds. he used to joke to her that he was always breaking them. it took her years to finally figure out what he meant. despite that awakening, she’d always wanted one of her own. back in the day, when she’d lay down to test them out, her adolescent temperament always allowed her to ride the waves without getting sick. now she was just sick of it but stuck with it, this months-paycheck monstrosity that was a literal pain in her neck.
