this morning #336.

this morning, there was no place in the world like this. she was sure of it. with its vibrant colors & shiny, plastic decor, it was as if she’d found her way into a non-apocalyptic pixar film. for years, she had heard about it from her cousin, this bright habitat literally designed for kids’ pleasure, ball pit & all. despite all her repeated hints & sly suggestions, her new age mother adamantly refused to bring her here. something capitalism something something. thank god for relatives & birthday parties. thank god her mom had relented. now that she had seen how the other half lived, there was absolutely no turning back. her mom’s hemp-based lifestyle would no longer suffice.
