this morning #33.

this morning, he woke up early on his own on an adjustable bed with his back on fire & his agenda full. it was hard being great. it was far from the past. twenty years passed, and the feeling of greatness & the feeling of hair waned where once they had waxed & the thrill came in spurts & the back it still hurt but the bird it still flew. the ego still grew. something achieved with practice & cliche midwest grit. greatness did wonders for the ego. greatness did wonders for poverty. greatness held up for a bit. now there were meetings & handshakes that weren't quite "good game." the art of the deal. the feel of the dart. the wheel of the cart.
