this morning #313.
this morning, mother earth was crying out for her help. she still felt that she was up to the challenge & to kick off the day’s crusade, she had lovingly designed a clever sign to express her support at today’s city hall protest. her eco-journey had begun as a toddler with her parents bringing her & her older sister to early earth day actions. fifty years on, with her long hair graying but still flowing, shit had gotten so real that many of her friends had since given up the fight. with the world on fire as it was, she couldn’t blame them. they didn’t share her degree of intensity. none of them had the balls to take the action she’d take this afternoon anyhow. if she wasn’t arrested for it, she wasn’t doing it right.
