this morning #301.

this morning, she lay prone alone on her roof watching airplanes roar overhead on their way to the airport, wondering about the lives of the people inside. where had they been & when they touched down, where would they end up? were they leaving loved ones behind or were they here to reunite? as for herself, it had been some time since she had seen her family. it wasn’t that she didn’t care for them. it was more that she had moved 3000 miles away & then got stuck here, in a rundown RV near the airport, constantly struggling to piece together a substantial-enough income. holidays & vacations were but a dream. for now, she’d have to live through the passengers passing overhead.
