this morning #2246.

this morning, though my coworkers had made a lot of lewd comments here & there over the years about especially attractive female customers, today one of them finally took it too far. one of the younger guys. in his late twenties. we were paired up in electronics. it’d been dead for the first hour so we were just hanging out shooting the shit. talking trucks & stuff. a mom & what was clearly her teenage daughter walked over & started looking at the laptops. i went to greet them & he stopped me. put a hand on my shoulder. “i got this, old man.” he did not. he strolled over. turned on the charm & directed it at the daughter. i watched from afar as the mom immediately picked up what was going on. whatever it was that he said, it resulted in one hell of a slap upside his head.
