this morning #2225.

this morning, he ran his hand back & forth across the space just above his lip. couldn’t tell if there were more hairs there than yesterday. went to the mirror to check. he grabbed his upper lip & pulled it taut. pretty sure there were a few new hairs poking through. it was definitely developing every day but, if he was being honest with himself, growing this mustache was taking far too long. the clock is ticking. less than two months left until the school year begins. when he gets to campus, he needs it to be filled in. no more of this half ass high school facial hair nonsense. he’ll be meeting all sorts of new people. a mustache is key if he wants to be seen as a man of mystery & not just another boring boy from the burbs. we’re crafting an identity here.
