this morning, she knew that her striking height might help her catch a ton of stray eyes as she went about her day. sadly, most of these eyes were nothing more than signs of toxic curiosity. as she stood in line waiting to order her matcha latte, a girl aged three or four sat in a stroller in front of her. staring up in wonder. she smiled & waved down at her. the little girl’s face went cold & she let out a glass-shattering scream that soon grew into panicked tears. as her mom knelt down to comfort her kid, the entire cafe turned to see what’d happened. all she offered was a shrug but she knew what was going on. the child couldn’t believe that someone so tall actually existed. she’s such a giant that she’s broken that little girl’s mind.
