this morning #2184.

this morning, most of what she’d imagined would’ve happened to her by this point in her life most pointedly had not. not her fault, really. that fact definitely didn’t make her strained reality any easier though. she dropped her legs over the side of the cot and, with a sigh, stretched her arms high over her head & hopped off. the shack felt abnormally hot for this time of day. faulty f’n fan had apparently shut itself off in the middle of the night. wouldn’t turn back on. great. it’ll be super sweltering in here soon. it was finally time to scrape together enough cash to buy a new fan & set this situation right. for now, she managed not to cry. she was managing a lot these days. managing & holding on for a possible positive future.
