this morning #2139.

this morning, i woke up with the knowledge that my future’s destined to feature good fortune. found out last night when i broke open the cookie that came with my order of moo shu pork. “you will find good fortune.” a fortune cookie forecasting fortune. i get that it’s super spot on but i don’t mind. i’m a firm believer in the power of prophecies printed on slim strips of paper. chance in aphorism form. can’t wait to see what sort of fortune it turns out to be. could be anything really. could be love or good health, although i feel like the cookie would spell either of those fortunes out. it’s probably money. it’s usually money. whatever it turns out to be, i do hope that it shows up soon. right about now, my life could use a boost.
