this morning, whenever she opened her mouth to call him out, he quickly interjected. disrespectful in a manner that all her friends totally noticed. stunned enough that they weren’t sure what to say. kept cutting her off before she had a chance to fire back & take him down a notch. shouldn’t have worked on a woman like her but for some reason, when it came to him, it did. attrition is a bitch. she remained silent for the next few minutes but when he started name dropping people he barely knew, she tried to correct the record. he cut her off again & she excused herself. slid out of the booth to go to the restroom. he made a lazy stab at asking if she was ok but she just kept walking away. he shrugged. “so as i was saying…”
