this morning, the funny thing was that, for the first time in her life, she was the one holding all the cards. this despite the fact that it was far from the days when she made her way through life with both hands on the wheel. what sealed the deal was a chance encounter at the bank with her gossipy high school math teacher. funny how no matter how hard she tried to figure out how life worked, it took the nosiness of the woman who taught her algebra to finally help her figure out the terms of her constants & variables. with this new found power, she could finally be the change she needed to make without a care for the humans left in her wake.
