this morning #1891.

this morning, there was a free-for-all at the mall. broke out on the edge of the food court while i was trying to enjoy my first meal of the day. at first, i didn’t sweat it because the chaos was all the way over on the other side. by the orange julius. started with two groups who i have to assume were teens. started with a scream. then some shouting in response. it got my attention but i kept eating because, as i mentioned, the disturbance was happening way over there. then someone chucked a chair. that first one didn’t connect but the second one did. punches were thrown & the fracas spread like wildfire as others got drawn in. as it neared, i stood up. wrapped up the rest of my breakfast sandwich. hurried away.
