this morning, from fifteen stories above street level, she was spinning quite the yarn. with a stopover for a sip of her smoothie, she launched into a tale featuring no less than ten different colorful nicknames for her ex. across the table, her sister was absolutely enthralled, shaking her head at each slight her rant revealed. over the three years of their rocky relationship, her ex had got another woman pregnant, fell off the face of the earth for two weeks, got a tattoo that misspelled her name & got ANOTHER woman pregnant. she eventually showed him the door after an argument over a puppy he got her. given her severe allergy to animals, she didn’t exactly appreciate the gift.
