this morning #184.
this morning, deeply conflicting attitudes threatened to tear his brain in two. the headache was intense. it radiated on through his eyeballs. sometimes he wanted to throw his arms around the world. sometimes he had a great notion to jump into the river & drown. today, the two options seemed equally inviting. behind the cabin, the forest stretched for miles. he could either walk into it never to return or he could stroll through it smiling, embracing all that nature had to offer. the choice he’d make would come at a moment’s notice, based on a random sign that was really just a normal, everyday occurrence. when nothing makes sense in the whole, sometimes every little thing surely does.
