this morning #1823.
this morning, after a night where she couldn’t stay asleep, she eventually gave up & got out of bed. right around dawn. restless. got dressed, left a note & went out on a proper wander in a nearby woods. the forest here is much darker. denser. she instantly noticed the difference. drawn toward the spots where the early morning light peeked through. for her, it was a sort of searching, moving into the light to get a better look at what she wanted her new life to be like. not just with her guy. that part would sort itself out. it was bigger than that. growing concern about how she’d keep being her own person. it’d always been a worry of hers. getting too lost in love. getting all fogged up. finding your prior life now gone & forgotten.
