this morning #1778.
this morning, we got some potentially bad news. seems that there might be a little issue with our funding. with a month & a half left to go, it’s not ideal. no real details yet but it doesn’t appear to be a rumor. we assume it’s some silly dispute between the two men funding the research. i think they’re a couple? hard to tell. we only met them that one time i told you about—those few hours on the day that we got here. couple or not, they began bickering quite quickly. kept it up the entire time. then they wished us luck & took off in their helicopter. i bet they got in yet another spat & one of them pulled their cash from the project. awesome. well…we should learn more about our future on monday. stinks that it’s out of our control.
