this morning #1761.

this morning, before i’d even had time to properly wake up, i found myself knee deep in an awkward situation. knock on my door. answered without wondering who was on the other side. come to find it was a girl scout & her mom dropping off my order. in the mom’s eyes, i was reminded that i hadn’t put on pants. luckily, nothing was exposed. YIKES. anyway…today’s poem. less risqué. maybe. we two hold each other close. try to feel each other’s pulse. try to mine each other’s souls for gold. try our best to strike it rich. when we do, we decide if we should choose to continue to dig. in each other’s arms we are completely free from life’s rife harms. in each other’s arms we are complete.

go back to the beginning.
