this morning, after a full day on edge where we’d all kept one eye on the news, rumors swirling wildly, following the progress of the hunt for the two men who’d possibly stolen chemical weapons, the cops caught the guys. overnight. no struggle. no word on the status or veracity of the weapons. still, i feel way better knowing that the perpetrators are in custody. police press conference at eleven. hopefully the arrests will shut folks up at the office. those fools absolutely salivate at the mere whisper of drama. this time, it actually sort of affects them. unless the cops reveal that there are missing weapons, i’m ready to move on to tonight. the lady’s introducing me to more of her friends. can’t be worrying about the end of the world.
