this morning, he finally grasped the concept of conscious coupling. it was all in the angle you worked. in his case, he was in his late thirties & SO done with all the dating bullshit. his partner was in the same boat, so now they were rowing down couples creek together. this city was crazy expensive & he definitely needed help with the rent. part-time work at a museum wasn’t at all lucrative & not even close to as helpful as his partner’s freelance design gigs. if he could manage to manage his moods, she’d never bring up his meager financial contributions. she loved him for his art & if he could just manage to manage his artistic vision, she’d consciously continue to do so. he was fully aware.
