this morning, he was squirming around & fixing to get so hopped up on sugar that dig’em would be rolling over in his watery grave. every saturday, his parents threw him a bone & let him have sugary cereal. during this week’s grocery store run, he made sure his mom selected the best of the best—honey smacks. sure, for a brief second he was almost drawn in by count chocula’s pointy ears and vanted to eat his cereal. cartoon frogs are way cooler than cartoon vampires though, so he trusted his gut & went with the non-bitey character. he dug in. halfway through his third bowl of the smacks, his parents had to cut him off. he had become a danger to himself & everyone he loved.
