this morning #1483.

this morning, every time that i considered reaching out to the next-door neighbor to further discuss what’d gone down yesterday in the shed, i stopped myself. wondered if maybe i should just let the mystery be. how crucial is it really for me to know why a treasure trove of nazi trinkets was hidden in an unassuming suburban family’s backyard shed? the owner thought its existence was vital enough to hold us at gunpoint & swear us to secrecy. that tickled my reporter instinct for sure. on the other hand, dude was a bit unhinged. maybe there’s truth behind his threats. i wasn’t about to just forget the whole incident though so eventually, i picked up my phone. placed a call to the neighbor. gave him a time & a location.

go back to the beginning.
