this morning #1404.

this morning, without so much as a “one, two, three,” she drove a hole through my left ear lobe with a needle & pressed an alcohol-soaked cotton ball to the opening. i didn’t even have time to scream. that was probably for the best because if her mom had caught us doing this, she’ll totally flip. better that her mom finds out later what we’ve done. we need some time to pass. she plugged up the hole with a stud. my whole ear pulsed. she cleaned the hole again & stepped back with a satisfied smile. my first piercing. i went to the mirror to see the results. if i’m being honest, it didn’t look like much. just a single silver ball. it’ll look way cooler when there’s something spangly dangling from my ear.
