this morning #2.

this morning, she’d just woke up, she just woke up sad. sad but smart but sad & wanting. wanting to create her own space. wanting for meaning. she was no longer a teen, no longer younger but still fondly relatable. her glasses & curls & work boots & hoodie drove it all home. relatable. she wasn't quite tired but her life felt quite exhausted. she wanted her own space but creating the space to make that take place wasn't so easy. reasoning without money wasn’t so feasible. over cold water & warm breath & a seat in the window, she settled it once & for all. she would think it over again in the fall.
