this morning, in addition to the addition of additional weight, there was also a spate of debate over whether the plane was actually safe. from what i can tell, that british woman’s the one who started the panic. set the whole hubbub off with a whisper into the ear of her impressionable traveling companion. he’d become quite friendly with the couple from the bay & when he relayed the woman’s theory to them, they took the bait. next thing we knew, the businessman from pasadena had pulled the pilot aside for a quick chat. he appeared to be throwing his weight around, his very mannerisms demanding answers. i wanted answers too. better that he be the entitled asshole demanding them though.
