this morning #1374.

this morning, i woke up & strolled into the bathroom just in time to find my wife doing something untoward with my toothbrush. i wasn’t sure exactly what she was up to but the moment that she saw me she tried hiding the evidence behind her back. of course, i asked her what was in her hands. she stalled & played dumb. revealed her empty hands & grinned from ear to ear. sweet. now she’s shoved my toothbrush into her pants. this is where this month of escalating pranks has led us. i extended my arms & stepped forward to give her a hug. she stepped back. said “no thanks.” grinned again. i said “ok” & walked away. i can’t wait to see how she reacts to the surprise she’s getting later today.
