this morning #1275.

this morning, i paused for applause. none came. what a shame. these daft-ass plebes just don’t get it. i guess that’s what led to them being here in the first place. i mean, my words are not a sermon per se but they’re still pure wisdom. that last analogy was clever as a fox. worthy of at least a golf clap. how do they not see that? maybe they just need more convincing. i continued. asked for a show of hands. how many of them know where they want to be in five years? most of them did. how about ten? half of the room bowed out. twenty? a half-dozen hands remained. these were the folks i would focus my energy on. they’re the dreamers, the ones with potential. the rest are destined to fail.
