this morning #1195.
this morning, when i pulled up & parked my car, the line to get in was much longer than usual. probably twice the size it was just last week. wrapped clear around the block. a full hour before we open the doors. patiently waiting. mostly. i see quite a few new yet still familiar-looking types of faces today. faces in need of what we’re offering. wet bodies willing to wait in the rain for our assistance. this has clearly gotten out of control. if the line keeps growing like this, next week we won’t be able to handle the demand. we’ll have to start turning folks away. that’ll be a shame. i wish i knew who to throw the blame at for this situation but there’s just too much blame to go around.
