this morning #1141.

this morning, i stepped outside & came to find that some shmuck had totally ignored the bright orange letters of my “keep gate closed” sign. now i have no way of knowing if there’s been a breach while i was fast asleep. a great escape. i surveyed the immediate area. it didn’t seem like anything was amiss. i pulled the gate shut in disgust. took one last look around. i suppose i could make the sign bigger but it’s more likely a sign that people just don’t heed signs any more. we’re now a society indifferent to warnings. suspicious of suggestions. if i find out who left the gate ajar, they’re going to get a stern talking to. honestly though, i don’t know what good it’ll do.
