this morning #1135.

this morning, though i was hemming & hawing through a strong spate of yawning, i think i still managed to convince them that i’m the ideal man for the job. they were impressed. that’s the impression that i got. they lobbed a lot of those probing-type questions at me & despite my tiredness, i expertly volleyed each one back with an honest answer. i find that that’s the best policy. the honesty. like, i shared that i left my last job after a dispute with my boss. clarified that he was taking credit for my work. assured them that it wasn’t part of a pattern on my part. i felt underappreciated. they could appreciate that. they nodded as if they did. told me they’d be in touch. i hope they’re not making that up.
